Managing your company’s users
Anyone at your company who uses NECTAR can add, edit and deactivate the other people at your company. You will find this on My Account, under Users.
Adding someone
Enter their first name, last name and email, then set a temporary password and type it twice. Give that password to them yourself. NECTAR emails them to say they have been added and where to sign in, but never sends the password.
The first time they sign in, they are asked to choose their own password before they can do anything else.
If the email already has a NECTAR account, it is refused. Contact nectar@formybee.com in that case.
Password rules
- At least 12 characters.
- It must not contain the person’s first name, last name, or the part of their email before the @.
Editing someone
You can change a person’s first name, last name and email. Their role and company cannot be changed here, and you cannot set another person’s password. Anyone who forgets their password can use Lost password on the sign-in page.
Deactivating someone
Deactivating a person:
- blocks them from signing in, and signs them out anywhere they are signed in;
- removes them from your approved senders for emailed files, if they were one;
- keeps their past uploads in your company’s history.
You cannot deactivate yourself, and your company always keeps at least one active user.
Reactivating someone
Only the NECTAR team can reactivate a person. Email nectar@formybee.com and say who.
Who is told
Every add, edit and deactivation is recorded, and the NECTAR team is emailed, so there is always a record of who changed what.
